Komen Colorado Extends Programming through COVID-19 Fast Track Fund
Last week, Joby Koren, board member and breast cancer survivor shared a big announcement from Susan G. Komen® Colorado. As the newly appointed board president, I wanted to be the first to let you know that thanks to our generous donors and sponsors, Komen Colorado is able to expand programming and start accepting applications for the Komen Colorado Fast Track Financial Assistance Fund.
This fund will provide non-medical financial relief to eligible individuals during the COVID-19 public health crisis over the next six weeks. Individuals residing in Colorado that are in active breast cancer treatment and currently living at or below 400% of the Federal Poverty Level are eligible to apply. Details about the fund, priority categories and the application are now available at: KomenColorado.org/fasttrackfund.
If you or someone you know needs immediate non-medical financial assistance as they continue their breast cancer treatment, please tell them about the Komen Colorado COVID-19 Fast Track Financial Assistance Fund. Or if you believe in a world without breast cancer and that our work in the face of this global pandemic is critical to the health of our community, please consider donating so we can extend our reach.
Again, it is all in thanks to YOU, and other loyal donors and sponsors, that Komen Colorado can deliver on our mission to save lives by meeting the most critical needs in our communities and extend this assistance to alleviate challenges of those facing breast cancer today.
WE won’t give up. WE will keep fighting,
John DellaSalle, Komen Colorado Board President
