Denver shows up and shows that we are MORE THAN PINK!

Last Sunday marked the inaugural Colorado MORE THAN PINK Walk at the Auraria Campus in Downtown Denver. Close to 6,000 participants joined together to connect, celebrate, and inspire one another in the fight against breast cancer, in pursuit of our bold goal: to reduce breast cancer deaths in the U.S. by 50% by 2026! One thing is clear, Denver has an amazing community of survivors, thrivers, and supporters that are raising awareness and funds, all while having fun doing it to advance the Komen Colorado mission.

We couldn’t be more grateful for this community and the more than 300 teams who joined together as family members and co-workers to give of their time, talent, and resources for a successful inaugural event! And, because you don’t always see the countless volunteers who serve everything from pancakes to t-shirts on Walk Day, we want to take a moment to give a special shout out to our team of volunteers who helped from dawn until dusk throughout Walk weekend!

Komen Colorado’s TV partners were live at the event and posted a wonderful recap to watch.
