Susan G. Komen® Colorado is committed to creating a world without breast cancer. As we work to make that vision a reality, we are committed to saving lives now and alleviating the suffering of those facing the disease today. During the COVID-19 public health crisis, this means ensuring that our most under-resourced Coloradans in active breast cancer treatment receive immediate financial assistance to minimize their financial burden and increasing the likelihood of continuing their treatment.
Thanks to the generous support of our supporters, donors and sponsors, Komen Colorado is offering direct, non-medical financial assistance to eligible individuals during the COVID-19 public health crisis over the next six weeks.
Individuals residing in Colorado that are actively in breast cancer treatment and that are currently at or below 400% of the Federal Poverty Level are eligible to apply. Priority will be given to applicants who fall in at least one of the following categories:
- Latino and/or African American
- Reside in one of the 24 rural Colorado counties
- Currently living with metastatic breast cancer
- Living at or under 250% of Federal Poverty Level
